Ajax TOCCO has received an order to upgrade an existing bar heating line at a major worldwide steel company in the Midwest.  After 40 years of successful operation, the customer chose to replace their existing Ajax TOCCO equipment with a new 1200 kW 10,000 Hz Pacer HF, IGBT power supply.

This upgrade project follows the decision just a few years ago by the same customer to also utilize the Ajax TOCCO Pacer HF for a new bar line which was installed on the East coast.

The Pacer HF is utilized in a variety of applications and provides 100 kW to 4,000 kW of power, with a frequency range of 200 Hz to 100,000 Hz depending on the application needs.
